An important update ahead of the 2026 Totnes Show 🔥

After an exceptionally long dry spell, and with the wildfires seen across our area recently, we’re putting the safety of our visitors, animals and countryside first. This year, the Totnes Show will be a completely NON-SMOKING and NON-VAPING event.

We’re kindly asking everyone not to smoke or vape anywhere on the showground or car parks. The grass and hedgerows are tinder dry, and even a single discarded cigarette could have devastating consequences.

It takes a lot of hard work by a team of dedicated volunteers to put on this terrific day out for competitors and visitors alike.  We are always pleased to welcome new faces and it doesn’t matter if you have never done anything like this before.  We have meetings during the year, but even if you can only help out on the Show Day, we would be delighted if you would join us.  If you are interested, please contact our Show Manager.

Available for sale near the entrance gate and around the showground.  The Show Catalogue contains everything you need to know to plan your day, find your way around and enjoy your day out to the full.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on short fixed (non-retractable) leads, but will have limited access to some areas of the showground.

Owners are requested to clean up after their dogs. Please be a responsible owner and think of other people, particularly children.

Please remember never to leave your dogs in cars in hot weather – it can be fatal!

First Aid facilities are available near the Main events ring.

We want all our visitors to have an enjoyable experience when visiting our show and to take advantage of the opportunity to see an interact with a range of farm animals. Show animals are generally very clean but there is a small risk of infection through any animal contact especially for young children.

Please use a common sense approach to hygiene when you have been touching animals or their pens and ensure that you and your children wash their hands with soap and water and dry them with the hand towels provided. You will find signage to your nearest hand washing facilities around the show site. If you are unsure where this is, please ask one of our show stewards.

Items of lost property may be handed in to the Show Manager’s Tent beside the Main Ring.
